New Years 08
New Years again! And back to Saratoga Springs we traveled to revel in the fun (and cold). Jason, Krissy and I met Leanne, Katie, and eventually Mike and Melanie out and about the town. There was merriment, drinks, fireworks, and good times. Overall a good New Years celebration!
Balsam Lake Mtn. Hike
Madisons very first hike! Lesley, Suave, Jason, Dodger and I all joined Maddie on her very first hike in the mountains. Things kinda got off to a rough start when Jason dislocated his pinky on some rocks and we spent a few hours hanging out in a country hospital waiting for the doctor to reset it. But We still managed to get a 6 mile hike in and then went home to enjoy some tasty soup (Prepared by the phenomenal chef, Lesley!) and watch a great movie!
Road Trip 07
Leanne has finished school and needed to drive her car home. Who was the sucker that volunteered for the job? You, me! Just to let you know, road trips are nothing like how they seem in the movies. But we both came away with some really great stories!
Thatchers Park
Suavicles, Lesley, Jersey Joe, Joes wife Angie, their daughter Autumn went for a walk along the cliffs in Thatchers park. Of course Suave, Joe and I acted like monkeys and were scolding by all three women! But at least we all had fun!
Canoeing the Fulton Chain Lakes
Greg, Dad, and I spent a long weekend up in the Adirondacks canoeing, camping, and eating well. I was a bit cool and wet, but overall we all had a great time!
St.Pattys Day 2007
Erock, Vincent, Greg, Sean and myself went back to the Parting Glass for another festive celebration of St Patricks Day! We all got drunk, made new friends, and some of us made asses outta ourselves! A successful adventure all around!
Yosemite
The trip of a life time!! Suave, Jimmy, Vincent and I went on a 10 day backpacking trip to Yosemite National Park, California. I can honestly say I have never been to a place more beautiful!
Disney 2005
Thanksgiving and Disney with the Tetreaults! We all went down to Jacksonville to spend time with Wendy and to enjoy some tasty, tasty turkey! Then we were off to Disney! This was my first time there, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about. I have to admit, I had a pretty good time! After the rest of the family went home, Becky and I spent a few days by ourselves enjoying the Wilderness Lodge and the rest of the park all by ourselves. Great times!
Saras Wedding
The big bash in Jacksonville!!! Sara Shaw is now officially Sara Suarez and we add another victim member to the Shaw extended family. We also took a little side trip to Disney world.
Moving Suave
Suave has finally moved to Albany and what better way to celebrate than to help him move all of his crap! Well, to be fair some of it was Lesleys crap. Becky, JV, Pitar, Madison, and I all drove out to Moddleton to help with the festivities. Stu and his wife were there to help as well! Party!
Hike to the Pine Orchards
We all wanted to go for a hike one weekend, but were at a loss as to where to go. We considered many different trails, but ended up settling on hiking to the falls near Lake Sacadaga. When we got there we found out that the road was blocked off and would add 10-12 miles to the 4 mile hike. Suave made a quick discion to try a different hike: Pine Orchards. That one did not really work out either: too buggy, too hot, and we did not have enough time. Yet, I think we all had a fun day just hanging out.
St Pattys Day 2006
We spent St Pattys Day in Saratoga Springs again this year listening to the musical musings of The McKrells who played for an amazing 5 Hours! I do believe that everyone had a great time!
Jays New Jeep
Jay, Suave, Radic (Suaves roomate), Jimmy, and I spent a weekend putting a new lift and bigger tires on Jays Jeep. Check out how cool it looks!
Buck Mtn Revisited
It was a boys weekend when Eric "Erock" Klym, Jason "Crazy" Vincent, Prat "Destroyer of PCs" Krishnamoorthy, and I decided to tackle Buck Mountain on the east side of Lake George. I did not think I was going to make the entire hike, but the guys helped me make the top. Badge Earned!
St. Patricks Day 2005
Of course there is no better place to spend St. Patricks day, than in an Irish pub listen to a great Irish band. So where was I that day? The Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs, of course! The McKrells were playing all night, and as the pictures prove, there was plenty of Guiness as well!
Our Anniversary
Becky and I had our 1 year anniversary on December 13th. We went back to NYC for the weekend and saw alot of the tourist attraction that we have never been to or had not been to in years.
Old Orchard Beach, Maine
Old Orchard Beach is a great place to spend a week relaxing. I joined Becky and her family for a week at the ocean. We played mini golf, we went swimming, we hung out at the beach, we shot stuff with shotguns...who could ask for a better vacation?
New Years 2005
The gang went to Saratoga again this year and I think we all had a great time. Before hand we had stopped at the Van Dyke for some dinner and fez wearing fun. Later we met up with Beckys parents and relatives at the Parting Glass just in time for the fireworks!

For Halloween 2004 we headed out the to new domicile of Eric and Nicole Klym. Everyone dressed up. Becky was even nice enough to make our costumes (and her own!). Caution: Pictures of pasty flesh inside!
Suaves 30th Birthday
Leasley Powell and the Emr girls were nice enough to put together a little shin-dig for Suaves 30th birthday party. There was much merriment had that night!
Oktoberfest 2004
This year i did not make it to the Oktoberfest at Whiteface so I decided that I would throw my own. THe party was complete with great beer, polka, and turkey legs.
The Klyms Wedding
Another one bites the dust! Eric "Erock" Klym tied the knot to Nicole Rupar. It was a great party with the old gang. Here is one of my first adventures into the scary world of life-long commitment!!
The First Trip to Keuka
Adventure 3 in the Old Skool series. In honor of my good friend Eric "ERock" Klyms wedding, this adventure was one of my first of many trips to Keuka College. Jason "Crazy" Vincent came along as we met Dewey Lawrence and Dave Grover. Enjoy!
The McKrells at The Parting Glass
The McKrells are a great local Irish band. I have seen them a few times and they have always put on a great show. This night they were playing at The Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs. The Parting Glass is a great time all by itelf, but add in the great music of the McKrells and your in for a guaranteed good time!
E-Rocks Bachelor Party
This adventure will provide stories for quite some time!! Eric "E-Rock" Klym will soon be married, and Dave "The Thinker" Grover, Jason "Crazy" Vincent, I had decided that we would make one of his last weekends as a bachelor one of the best. Months of planning and preparations went into making sure E-rock would remember this party for quite some time. After abducting The E-Rock from his home, we transported him to his old college stomping ground to drink many a glass of wine at a few of his favorite wineries while accompianied by Miss Eva.
The Trip to Clarkson

This year for the fourth I got together with a few friends and had a barbeque. Bocce was the sport of the day. Brews, burgers, and dogs for everyone!
Marthas Vineyard
This adventure is the first in the "Old Skool" series of adventures. Eric "Ace" Klym, Jason "Crazy" Vincent, and Josh "Dangers" Vincent joined me on a trip to sunny Marthas Vineyard. Is it just a coincidence that JFK jr. crashed his plane there that very same weekend? I guess we will never know...
Off Roading with the Crazies
Vincent, Erock and I spent a beautiful day out at Beckys parents house running some cool trails, and tearing up some fields. Its not one of my biggest adventures, but it was a great time.
The 2004 NY Car Show
This years car show was great, and there seemed to be even more then last year. We also had a ton of people go this year: Becky, Beckys family(Mr. and Mrs. T, Dodi, and Wendy), Eric, Nikki, My Dad, Mr.Vincent, Steve and his Dad, and many more. With things to see like the YCC, the Lego car, The Dodge Ram SRT-10, and Camp Jeep NY, there was really great stuff to see!
The Land of the Leprechauns
This has been my biggest adventure yet. Three Vincents and myself, had traveled many miles in search of tiny people with pots of gold and not so tiny "Publicans" with pints of Guiness. Though we did not find gold, we did find a country full of inviting people, green countrysides, medieval ruins, and healthy drinkers.
New Years 2004
Ahhh.....New Years in Saratoga. Always a good time. Of course Jason "Crazy" Vincent was there as well as Kristina "The Flake" Shaw, Becky "Little Miss Hottie" Tetreault, and Beckys Friend, "I like taking guys hats" Shelly. Most of the celebrating took place at a small Irish pub known as The Parting Glass. Good friends, good drinks, and good times. Now thats an adventure!

Oktoberfest
Nothing makes for a better advnture then good friends, good food, and good beer. Whiteface Mountain was the site for this adventure. Jason Vincent and Steve and Erin Peters accompanied myself to Oktoberfest. We enjoyed polka, turkey and many rounds of fine Oktoberfest style beer.
The Freshmen Experience
This adventure took Jason "Crazy" vicnent and myslef back to Alfred, NY, but this time we were there to visit Greg "The Man" Shaw. Seeing as it was his freshmen year, Jason and I had taken it upon ourselves to show Greg how to party the right way. We spent a good deal of the weekend enjoying Sam Adams Octoberfest and hanging out at Alexs and "Two Mill".
The GE Coop Outing
This adventure took my cohorts and myself to the mountainous region of northern New York. Jon had picked a trial that looped up Black Mountain. The weather was perfect but the trail was a little tougher then I had expected.
The Peters Wedding
Steve "Swamp Deer" Peters and Erin "The Hammer" Hammer tied the knot in Saranac Lake on August 2. Of course I was joined by my fearless sidekick, Jason "Crazy" Vincent, as well as Nikki "Kooky" Doherty. Everyone had a great tiem on this adventure.
The Boston Beer Company
Eric "ERock" Klym, Jason "Crazy" Vincent, and I were accompanied by Matt "Tizzy" Mattice on our trip to the Boston Beer Company Brewery in Boston, Mass. This year we took a whole posse: E-Rock, Nicki, Josh, My mom and dad, Greg "The Man" Shaw, Bud, 3 of Vincents uncles, Vincent and myself. Everyone had a great time checking out all the new cars coming out.The show even had a Monster Garage Display. One of the girls wokring the display came up to Vincent, E-Rock, and Myself and asked if any of us knew anythign about cars. Turns out they were doing a casting call for the show and the girl asked me if I wanted to interview for the show. Now I just have to wait for the call!
The Night That Went Wrong
Jason "Crazy" Vincent, Eric "Ace" Klym, and I journeyed to Alfred, NY to bring my sister Kristina "The Flake" Shaw home for Christmas. We left on friday night right after work. Once we got there we ventured forth to a place known in Alfred as "Alexs". There we met the lovely Amanda, Kristen, and Ali. After spilling a beer on Jason, getting locked out of Krissys apartment, getting stabbed in the leg with a piece of glass, and breaking a window to get in, we all decided that we had had enough for one evening.
The Buffalonians
Josh "Dangers" Vincent took Jason "Crazy" Vincent, Nikki "Kooky" Doherty, and myself to Buffalo to enjoy a rousing sport called "football". While the sport itself if exciting, even more so is what are referred to as "football fanatics" or "fans". Even Josh metamorphosed in one of these "fans". Join me as I recount the merry adventures we were a party to in jolly old Buffalo.
The Tight Squeeze: Part 2
Darrell Bush took the gang back to the cave in Clarksville. This time we had a smaller group and we knew the area some what, so we felt like being more adventurous. The group this time consisted of The Infragable Suave Emr, Jason "JV" Vincent", Darrell, and myself. At first we tried the second entrance to the cave, but after a short walk in we were met by a room full of water. But we heard voices. We had a small conversation with someone on the other side. Soon, a very wet man poped out from the water. We had met up with a scout troop that was just finishing their visit to the cave. Not wanting to get that wet so soon, we followed the scout troop back out of the cave. We tried another entrance to the cave that started with a wooden ladder. But after an initial investigationof the entrance I decided to just try the main entrance. Everyone else agreed and we trecked onward. Enjoy!
The Conneticut Crazys
This is my first large group adventure. I was invited to join the East Coast 4 Wheel Drive Association, Region D, for the Food Drive Trail Ride. Also accompanying myself was "Captain Insano" Stu, Jimmy "I am Hungry" Emr, Bret, and of course, the Infragable Suave Emr. Join us as we relive the pitfalls and triumphs of that lovely autumn day in: "Paul Shaw and the Conneticut Crazys"
The Ghost of the Drunken Bastard
This adventure took my cohorts and I into the secret depths of the paranormal. In Schenectady, there is a tale of a ghost of a young woman who on the first full moon of the summer, wanders from down by the Mohawk River up to Jacksons Gardens on the Union College campus. As we searched for a sign of the ghost, we noticed a faint whiff of bourbon on the air and suddenly heard drunken laughter. Unfortunately, we did not find the young woman, but we found a very belligerent and drunken ghost whose purpose in the afterlife was to torment the living. Join me as we relate this horrifying and ghastly tale, "The Ghost of the Drunken Bastard"
The Cup of Saint Martinele
This is my very first adventure in this series. I was joined by Ace Maverick and Eduardo Lapstrake. Eduardo was hired as guide for the adventure into the Temple of Saint Martinele. Little did Ace and I know that Eduardo had his own plans for the cup. In the end, the good guys won. However I do not think we have seen the last of Eduardo Lapstrake.
The Tight Squeeze
The always adventurous Darrell Bush took me spelunking out in Clarksville, NY. Jason "Crazy" Vincent, Josh "Dangers" Vincent, and the infragable Suave Emr joined me on this quest. We even had a junior adventurer join us, the nimble Patrick Sharrow. Join us as we recount the harrowing adventure: "The Tight Squeeze"
