Every month brings us closers to the impending onslaught of AAA titles in November; but lets not get ahead of ourselves. Lets talk some September, schools starting and the weather is getting gorgious . . . lets plays some games!

Gamefly Discs:
Assassin's Creed (slowly but surely, gotta get through the backlog)
Call of Duty 4
*Ao2 In the Mail (hopefully I'll get BF:BC!)

Currently Playing:
Call of Duty 4 - I've beat this game on the PC at least 5 times and once on the console; Its as great as i remember it, it didn't get Game of the Year for nothing. Working on my last play through on Veteran. Weapons Free.
Braid - 'nuff said

September
Inifinite Undiscovery - release date 9/4/08
Xbox exclusive RPG from Square Enix. Real time combat filled with parries and craziness plus a new story from Square . . . count me in. There may be framerate problems but I'll still plow my way through this one.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - release date 9/16/08
Demo was decent, i look forward to learning all my combos and exploring a new story in the star wars universe. Look at that star destroyer . . . oops did I do that . . . BOOM! Yoda, eat your heart out; Luke is a pansy compared to me!

Lego Batman - release date 9/23/08
I'm kinda tired of the whole lego playstyle but Lego Indy renewed my faith with story alone. I really enjoy playing that with my son regardless of the tedium of smashing every. single. object. The humor and pace was refreshing, lets hope that Batman does the same. I may not play it but I bet my son will.

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - release date 9/25/08
I love me some FPS and I'm a big fan of GearBox but I am not a big fan of yet ANOTHER WWII game. Hopefully this will be outweight by 3 things:
1. ability to control your squad in game; nothing beats AI that is actually run by a human
2. Xbox live co-op; Co-op should be a standard in every game now, it can make mediocre games great (ie: Ao2)
3. Its a shooter . . . whether is be third or first person; I love me some shooters!

Honorable Mention
Viva Pinata:Trouble in Paradise ( 9/4/08 ) - haven't played the original but I hear a lot about it
Facebreaker ( 09/05/08 ) - Punch out on crack, looks like a good party game but the demo didn't do anything for me.
NHL 2K9 ( 09/10/08 ) - sports games + console = win
or EA fans NHL 09 - ( 09/11/08 ) - we'll see who wins the hockey game war this year
BAJA The Edge of Control ( 9/24/08 ) - I'm still looking for a good racer on the xbox; i'll keep my eyes on this one

You might need to focus your gaming to a select couple of titles, because divorce is EXPENSIVE!!!

Oh, btw, I have a free night to game (wife has some meeting) after the baby hits the sack (7:30 or so). Let's play something.

I am up for either - i would like to close out Gears on insane for sure, but that cart level has me fearing it. COd was really fun playing it a little again the other day. Ideally you would get BF BC in the mail today! Too bad its not Wednesday already, we could play Castle Crashers! We could always play castle crashers Thursday, too.
