When Krissy picked up RB2, she checked out the clearnance bin for me and called to see if I wanted it. $5! Can't beat that with a broom, bro. I am missing my xbox.

Gamestop update:
This weekend was buy 2 get 1 free used weekend. I took the 9 yr old down and we went crazy. For 97 bucks, we got:

Viva Pinata
My Sims (DS)
Beautfiul Katamari
Assassins Creed
Burnout Paradise
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

Now, I am not sure about R6V2 (I am assuming it is more of the good formula from R6V1, and that's why I grabbed it), but I played all all of them except for Creed. Burnout got about 10 minutes of play right before bed, but I was impressed. Felt fun, tight, and the graphics are sick.

Surprisingly, i was hooked on viva Pinata. You have to play it to understand, but its like AOE with little paper animals, except you arent trying to kill them. i mated two worms together, one of them named Willcox (because he beat me in fantasy baseball this week), and I made a bird eat him. Take that.

Beautiful Katamari might be the worst game I have ever laid my grubby fingers on. Horrible, uninteresting, Japanese themed game. You push a stupid ball around collecting crap to stick to it, making it bigger and bigger until some crazy king shoots it up to the sky so he can replace the planets he destroyed after hitting a tennis ball into space. Yes, the story is that stupid, and the gameplay is worse. Back to gamestop you go, Crappy Katamari.

Looking forward to assassins creed, too, I think everyone has already played it, right?

so, I am backlogged on old games. Mass Effect, Prey (surprisingly good for $4 at gstop) The Darkness, R6V, R6V2, Viva, Assassins, Burnout, GRAW, Lego Batman (not old, but still have to play it) and RB2 (whoooa, livin on a prayer!)

I was thinking about picking up Viva Pinata for something to play with the kids. You think they could handle/enjoy playing it?

I've got Vegas 2 as well in from gamefly. I'll prolly play that after i finish up with Vegas 1. I coulda told you about Katamari!!

I played most of Assasins Creed but just haven't had the time to complete it, in my schedule. Its a good game.

Oct 16th I'll be getting RB2 package for PS2 trade in. (unless you guys know someone who wants a used ps2 with GH and a handfull of other games)

Pinata is good for kids (its geared towards them) but may be difficult to grasp at first. However, the "co-op" that they pitch is really just the ability for you to join in and move the cursor around with the young'uns, so that should help. Good luck finding Pinata, I have been looking for weeks and luckily got the only copy at Rotterdam gamestop Saturday.

Get RB2, so the Flaming Red Bushes can units and dominate the challenges boards.

Katamari is making me sick to my stomach just thinking about it. What should I go get instead? The had GRAW 2 there similarly priced, can't remember what else...

I'd work your way through graw 1 before you got graw 2.
I'm not sure about the pricing but you could look for Skate. or Oblivion.

One I would definately recommend is Overlord. Fun game!

Oh and Conan is a sick game as well. Mindless chopping of heads and squishing of bones.

I ended up getting GRAW 2. GRAW got the game of the year from someone, which means I probably will not hate it. Even it is is slightly different than what I am used to, I picked up GRAW for $5, and just got GRAW 2 for free. That seems like value for 2 games IGN has above a 9.0.

Either way, R6V tomorrow with Zodd? i played with him a bit on Sunday, we should get the band together again, mad fun.

I think I had a nightmare about how bad Beautiful Katamari is. Friends are supposed to warn friends about bad games. Bloo blah bloo blah. The Katamari monster is here!

Seriously, if you have not played Prey yet, its in the bargain bin for like 4 bucks and while its pretty simple (linear) i am enjoying it. It has multiplayer too I guess, though I havent tried it.
