We are so close to paydirt it hurts! The waterfall of good games has begun, I'm not really sure why I have gamefly right now I'll prolly reduce my account to 1 game.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 - This game is sweeter than honey! Nothing thrills more the breaching a room with my buddies whilest whispering "Tango Down" and "Clear" into my headset.
Castle Crasher - yep, i'm still playing it. And I will continue to play it until I've got at least 3 lvl 99 characters!

This game looks great! Inovative gameplay, scary monsters and environments and . . . . strategic dismemberment.

Fallout 3 - release date 10/28/2008
This game is a must try; Shooter RPG with blood, beauty and fun. Tons of possible endings = lots of playtime = harry will play after Gears 2 and nov. onslaught is over.

Fable 2 - release date 10/23/2008
We'll see if Peter Molyneux can keep his promises, even if he can't this game should still be fun. To bad I don't have more time to spend with this one because there is just so much you can do in game.

Far Cry 2 - release date 10/23/2008
This game looks to be a decent shooter in a really nice open world environment. We'll see how its treated in the reviews.

Monsters from the depths of pandoras box that look really gorgious sounds like some shooter fun to me. I'll wait for the reviews on this one and then it might get rented next year for some mindless shooter fun.

Saints Row 2 - release date 10/13/2008
While GTA is a more realistic sophisticated mobster game, Saints Row 2 is its Polar as a arcadelike action based gansta game.
READ: Gta is for white people, Saints Row is for black people. But both are essentially the same game.

Scare me with misshapened S&M loving monsters plz. Unfortunately, my need for AAA quality outwieghts my need for terror.

NO THANKS! Stick with star wars Lucas Arts. . .or better yet . . . make a GREAT game already, mediocrity is not good enough. I have to mention this just because it is Lucas Arts.

Fallout 3 is at the top of my October list, if it's anything like Oblivion it will be the only game I play for the next year. I'm not at all interested in Dead Space, but I thought Fracture actually looked kinda fun, I'll have to check out the demo. Rest of em look pretty "meh" to me, although Far Cry 2 looks sweet. I'd need to upgrade my rig first though.

Oh yeah, what about last month's games? Anyone play Force Unleashed or Spore? Have you finished Braid yet?

I haven't played Spore or force. both got reviews less than in line with the hype, and for my money, I want a guaranteed good time (unless I can find something for $5 in the gamestop bargain bin)

I am playing Lego Batman (I started with Kaitlyn anyway), Rock Band 2 (which as you would expect, isn't a MAJOr upgrade over the original, but there is enough new gameplay and an AWESOME new track list, I am really enjoying it. Playing Livin on a Prayer is mad fun, I could do it all day), R6V with Bush and Zodd when time permits, finished Mass Effect (need to go back and actually play a side mission or two, I plowed through and mistakenly beat the game too quickly). I also need to get to GRAW 1, and clear some time for Dead Space (the buzz on this game is intense, everyone loves what they have played and seen so far) and get ready for Gears 2.

the problem I face going into the fall is I have my Wednesdays and Thursday tied up with basketball leagues until late every night, and Mondays and Tuesdays tied up with the whole "wife and kids" thing. Dang responsibilities. I have more games to get to than ever before, which less time than ever before. Looks like sleep may get sacrificed soon.

Haven't finished Braid yet; Castle Crasher made sure of that, but i will get farther with it this weekend. Taking the xbox in the car on a trip to ogdensberg, i'm sure i'll be playing that one on my little 7 incher. maybe i should hang a sheet in the car and bring the projector

I doubt I'll ever play spore, it just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe if it had achievements...........

I won't be playing SW:TFU this year, the reviews came back and I played the demo. Its hard to play a game where the funness is experienced in the first 30 mins of play. I'm not a fan of give me all my shit at the begining on the game and then take it away and make me earn it back.

This is why you would get it for xbox. As each day passes my controller proficiency increases!
